WHAT MAKES OUR CAMPS SPECIAL

Word of Life camps are like no other! Almost all of our Taiwanese staff are volunteers that have just graduated from SYME or will continue studying at SYME in the fall. They are all young students fired up to share about God.

The English classes gives students an opportunity to practice English with real native English speakers. Many students will enjoy this unique experience that they can’t get anywhere else. The lessons they learn in English class are connected to our camps entire theme! The words and sentences they hear in the morning will be things they will hear again during Bible lessons and Game Time.

The day is packed with fun, we play lots of creative games that require the use of English vocabulary that they just learned! Not only that the games have a connection to the Bible lessons. As they play the games they will be reminded of the scriptures taught that day.

Students can go to any camp and have a good time, but not many camps will fill students with the knowledge of God’s Word. We take deep truths and bring it down to a simple level for new students, while also being able to challenge those who have been Christians for a long time. Its Word of Life Camp’s goal to have students leaving thinking about God’s Word at the end of each day.

We believe a balance of having fun, learning God’s Word, and building relationships with students and teachers is key to having a successful ministry.
